Dr. Mikael Christensen
Since joining the Materials Design team, Mikael has worked on a range of industrial applications of computational materials science.
Mikael joined Materials Design® in 2006. Following his doctoral work, Mikael was appointed to the position of research fellow at Chalmers and investigated a number of metallurgical materials and phenomena using ab initio methods.
Mikael is a recipient of the Sandvik Coromant award for interfacial studies in the WC-Co hard material system.
He has a M.Sc. in physics from the University of Linköping and a Ph.D. from Chalmers University of Technology in Göteborg.
